A storage tank with a coil, as well as a tank (called a buffer or accumulation tank) is designed to accumulate heat energy transferred from a heating device, such as a boiler or a fireplace with a water jacket. It can also successfully cooperate with other heat sources, including a heat pump.

What does a coil tank provide?
As a rule, a tank with a coil is designed to maintain the proper and constant temperature of tap water, which will be used, for example, for washing dishes or bathing. The device should also provide enough hot water, regardless of how many places need it at the same time. The ideal situation is one in which, thanks to the operation of the tank, users get a warm stream of water immediately after turning on the tap.

Safe use
The heat exchanger in the tanks is made of stainless steel. Due to the special design, the turbulence of water in the coil prevents the accumulation of calcium compounds on its surface. Under the influence of pressure changes, the exchanger cleans itself automatically.

Efficient heating
The large area and volume of the coil and its distribution throughout the tank ensure high efficiency of the domestic water heating system. The exchanger in the upper range of the buffer is designed to quickly provide hot water, while in the lower range it is responsible for pre-heating the water and cooling the tank.
